About Play and Say

Play and Say was created from a place very close to my heart.

I’m Layla — a mom of two little ones, a computer teacher, and someone who has always been passionate about helping children learn and grow. I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Technology, but beyond my career, my greatest joy has always been seeing children discover, explore, and build confidence through learning.

Becoming a mom changed everything for me.

I experienced the love, the joy… but also the exhaustion, the constant responsibility, and the feeling of needing just a little time to breathe. I realized that so many moms around me felt the same way — wanting the best for their children while also needing support and a moment for themselves.

That’s where the idea for Play and Say was born.

I wanted to create a space where children feel safe, happy, and excited to learn through play — a place where they can grow, socialize, and explore in a small, nurturing environment.

But just as importantly, I wanted to create something for moms.

A place where you can drop off your child knowing they are cared for, engaged, and loved… while you take a moment for yourself — whether it’s running errands, relaxing, or simply taking a breath.

Because I truly believe that when moms are supported, they show up stronger, happier, and more present for their children.
